LeBron James Is Perpetuating Racist Narratives About Memphis, And The NBA Couldn't Be Happier
So, Lebron is out here talking reckless about the Memphis, Tennessee scene? In his recent statements, he regarded the city as not a hub like Seattle or Las Vegas. His words aligned with Stephen A. Smith (for change). They both agree that Memphis Grizzlies should not be playing in that city.

Will the Wild Top 2003?
The fourth time was definitely the charm. The Minnesota Wild had attempted to lock in a spot in this year's playoffs three previous times before this chance. They had a "win and in" opportunity, but that fell through. They did some scoreboard watching on March 30, but things didn't go their way. On April 1, all that needed to happen was either a Kings loss or a Sharks regulation loss. Both teams won. Finally, on the following day, April 2, the Wild had the chance to do it themselves. All they needed was one point, but the Wild decided to get two. A 5-2 win over the lowly Vancouver Canucks (who were still high on scoring eight goals against the Avalanche), and that put the Wild back into the NHL's Sweet 16.

8th Straight Time Definitely Needs to be the Charm for Hurricanes
It's been a minute since we had another Stanley Cup Playoff clinch this season. March 20 saw the Colorado Avalanche as the very first team to get in, and two days later, the Dallas Stars joined the party. Nothing much since then, but here it is, the second day of April, and four teams entered this day with a chance to get in. Three of the teams were in the Eastern Conference, and one of them was the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes had been leading the Metropolitan Division for a good bit, and to get in, a win was all they needed.

No Foolin', No Goaltending
The calendar turned to the month of April, beginning the final 16 days of the regular season. Only three games took place on the first day of the fourth month, and one of them saw the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Vancouver Canucks in what was supposed to be a mismatch. The Avs are the top team in the league. The Canucks, well, not so much. Bottom of the league, first team eliminated from playoff contention. A cakewalk, right?

Tale as Old as Time: The Silver Boot Series 25th Anniversary
Us baseball fans love it when two rival teams go head-to-head with each other. When you think of a rivalry in Major League Baseball, the two teams that automatically come to mind are the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, which dates back to 1919. However, one rivalry in baseball that tends to get heated every year is between the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros. The Rangers joined the American League West in 1972, the same year they were renamed the Rangers after their move to Arlington from Washington, while the Astros joined in 2013 from the National League West. Fans of their respective teams engage in trash talking, both online and at games. Yours truly has engaged in a few of these exchanges, so I'm not going to pretend that I don't. Both fanbases tend to get heated because of the love and passion for their teams.

9-1-1: Rocky Mountains
The NHL has reached the penultimate day of March, and for the Colorado Avalanche, the month ends. Coming off a home loss to the Winnipeg Jets, the Avs remained at home against another Canadian franchise: the Calgary Flames. Oh boy. The Flames are a mess. Four years ago, this team finished first in the Pacific and reached the second round. What followed was the team losing so many relevant players, including watching one of them win a Stanley Cup--twice. The Flames are in total hell, but they'll at least draft early. So there's that.

NBA Playoff Push 2026: Twenty Hungry Teams
Hard to believe that there are only two weeks remaining in the NBA season. Just fourteen short days to go. And even crazier, with that much time left, all 20 postseason spots have been filled. Yes, you read that right. The last eliminated team was the Milwaukee Bucks, and their ousting came on Saturday, March 28 when they were horrendously blasted by the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee's loss allowed the Charlotte Hornets, the Orlando Magic, and the Miami Heat to advance to this year's postseason play.
