Unattractive

A Self-Deprecating Ballad

By Shequinah Rayanh NanshanapaPublished about a year ago Updated 2 months ago 1 min read
An old unfinished drawing of mine, that I felt captured the feeling

I get lonely sometimes.

I want to talk, see people, laugh with them.

I have a pretty face, I know that much, but I hesitate.

To put myself out there, see people, flirt with them

Then I look at myself, through my mirror's eye

How unattractive I think, how unappealing.

O to stay lonely a little while longer
