For every wave thatโ€™s crushing on the shore

For every drop of rain that falls from grace

For every sigh that reaches to the sky

I love you more

Because you love me less

The more things change, the more they stay the same

The sands of time, the twinkling morning star

A saving lie and many reasons why

No one to blame

Thatโ€™s just the way things are

Itโ€™s hard to know and harder yet to guess

The way what if becoming neither nor

No need to pry and much too late to cry

I love you less

Because you love me more

love poems
